From drab warehouse to contemporary abode, this 4k square foot transformation exhibits a perfected blend of form and function. Originally a medical warehouse atop a dental practice, the space has been reborn as a stunning residence for the practice owners, meticulously designed for work-life balance and refined professional hosting.

The architectural narrative celebrates the existing structure, seamlessly integrating its brick, wood post and beam elements with structural steel to facilitate expansive living areas. A metal spiral staircase ascends upwards from the main living area to a rooftop sun room as a secondary retreat away from the office and residence below. The rooftop addition opens to an Ipe grilling deck with sweeping city views and garden space. 

Daylight was essential to the design process and light from large exterior windows extends to inner rooms through fixed pane glass and clerestory windows. A large contemporary kitchen adds splashes of contrast to the surrounding industrial materials as light passes though an open back splash and illuminates a rich color palette. Other features include a 550 sf gym, steam shower & soaking tub, dual walk-in closets and bamboo flooring throughout.
This one of a kind dwelling redefines the concept of home, and breathes new life into an unexpected space with an elegant and eclectic interpretation of loft living.
